Opened in 2018, MACAAL (Musée d'Art Contemporain Africain Al Maaden) is one of the most important contemporary art institutions on the African continent. The museum occupies a stunning 4,000 square metre building within the Al Maaden Golf Resort. Featuring rotating exhibitions from the Al Maaden Private Foundation's collection of 2,000+ works, it showcases artists from across Africa and the diaspora. Free on Sundays.
