About Festival Dakka Marrakchia 2026
The Festival Dakka Marrakchia celebrates the UNESCO-recognized percussive tradition unique to Marrakech. Over 10 days in February, artisan drum troupes from the city's seven historic quarters compete in mesmerizing nocturnal processions through the Medina, accompanied by traditional chanting, dancing, and artisanal workshops that bring this centuries-old musical heritage to life.
