La escena techno de Marrakech es pequeña pero tiene dos momentos world-class al año: Atlas Electronic a finales de septiembre (finca privada cerca del Atlas, rave camping de 2 días con line-ups serios) y el Oasis Festival también en septiembre (mainstage techno + house en el Fellah Hotel). Fuera de semanas de festival, se programan noches techno dedicadas en 555 y Theatro unas 2 veces al mes. El tech-house es el sonido de fondo en la mayoría de los clubs.
Qué esperar
BPM 125-132 para tech-house, 130-140 para techno propiamente dicho. Vestimenta más oscura y urbana que en salas afro-house/EDM. Público más reducido (200-500), muy internacional, gran presencia de productores europeos en septiembre. Cócteles 120-180 MAD, mínimos de mesa 6.000-12.000 MAD.
Mejores noches
Los sábados en 555 ("Underground Saturday" cuando se anuncia) y toda la semana de Oasis/Atlas Electronic en septiembre son imprescindibles. Theatro programa sets techno guest mensualmente, revisa su Instagram 2 semanas antes.

The booking policy covers international DJs on the main room, themed R&B nights, commercial house, and occasional spectacular live performances. What sets Theatro apart from its regional competitors is the level of production care — nothing here feels improvised. The crowd is international, the dress code is enforced with consistency, and the energy peaks between 1-3 AM on weekends. Table minimums range from 3,000 to 5,000 MAD depending on the night and DJ booking, with the higher end reserved for internationally known names. Entry without a table is possible but expect 200-300 MAD and some wait. The Thursday night programming is particularly interesting — a crowd that skews more local gives it a completely different energy from the weekend tourist circuit.

More than a nightclub — Epicurien is the beating heart of Marrakech's music scene, and I've been here more times than I can count since 2019. Located inside the prestigious Es Saadi Resort, it features live performances by The Kech Experience band Wednesday through Sunday — a jazz-funk-soul seven-piece that gets the whole room moving by midnight. Morocco's finest DJs take over after 1am, spinning hip-hop, R&B, house, and techno until sunrise. Entry from 200 MAD with a drink included. Updated after my last visit in March 2026.

Sí si te gusta el deep house / techno / experimental. Es un festival de camping privado de 3 días a 25 min de Marrakech, con line-ups que han incluido a Daniel Avery, DJ Tennis, Roman Flügel, Honey Dijon. Pase camping + 3 días alrededor de 180-250€. Sold out 6 semanas antes.
¿Se puede combinar techno + desierto en un finde?▾
Sí — es de hecho nuestro itinerario 'cool nightlife' más pedido. Viernes: llegada, cena en la Medina, noche en 555. Sábado: recuperación con hammam por la mañana, desierto de Agafay por la tarde (quad + almuerzo + atardecer), noche en Theatro. Domingo: brunch y vuelo. Lo empaquetamos para grupos de 6-12.
