What is GITEX Africa?
GITEX Africa is the continent's largest technology exhibition and conference, held annually in Marrakech under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Organized by KAOUN International in partnership with Morocco's Digital Development Agency, it has rapidly become the definitive gathering for Africa's technology ecosystem.
Since its inaugural edition in 2023, GITEX Africa has grown at a remarkable pace — from 30,000 visitors to an expected 55,000+ in 2026. The event brings together heads of state, Fortune 500 executives, venture capitalists, and startup founders to discuss, demonstrate and deploy technology solutions tailored to Africa's unique opportunities.
The 2026 edition focuses on artificial intelligence as the catalyst for Africa's digital transformation, with dedicated tracks on AI governance, cybersecurity resilience and the connected future of the continent's 1.4 billion people.
