Contemporary ceramics workshop — watch master potters create modern Moroccan tableware
Atelier Moro is a ceramics workshop and boutique in the Medina, founded by a British potter who fell in love with Moroccan clay traditions and relocated to Marrakech 15 years ago. The atelier produces a stunning range of contemporary tableware — bowls, plates, tagine dishes, and decorative pieces — that blend traditional Moroccan glazing techniques with clean, modern forms. You can watch the potters at work on the wheel, browse the finished collection in the showroom, and even book a 2-hour pottery workshop to make your own piece. Many of Marrakech's top restaurants use Atelier Moro tableware, including several Michelin-starred establishments.

“Atelier Moro ceramics are what the best restaurants in Marrakech use — buying here means you're getting restaurant-grade tableware. The 2-hour pottery workshop is surprisingly therapeutic and you take your piece home after firing. The seconds shelf has minor imperfections at 50% off — most are invisible. Their olive bowls are the signature piece.”
