Samanah Country Club is home to the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course in Morocco — and at 750 MAD for 18 holes, it may well be the best value Nicklaus course anywhere on the planet. Nicklaus's characteristic design philosophy is evident throughout: wide, undulating fairways that favor the strategic player over the bomber, precisely positioned bunker clusters that frame landing zones, and bold, tiered greens with multiple pin positions that make approach play the defining skill. Spread across 300 hectares in the Atlas foothills southwest of Marrakech on the Route d'Amizmiz, the par-72 layout plays approximately 6,800 meters from the championship tees, with a stunning mountain backdrop across the southern horizon. The course is in excellent condition year-round thanks to a sophisticated irrigation system drawing from the nearby reservoir. Difficulty is medium-hard: the par-5 holes are generous but the par-3s are brutally demanding, particularly into the prevailing afternoon westerly. The country club facilities include a pool, tennis, and a proper restaurant making it a full-day destination. Weekend tee times book out fast in peak season (Oct-April).
