Designed by Colin Montgomerie — eight-time European Tour Order of Merit winner — The Montgomerie Marrakech is the most conveniently located championship course in the city, sitting on Avenue Mohammed VI just 10 minutes from Menara Airport and 15 minutes from the Medina. The 18-hole, par-71 layout plays approximately 6,200 meters in a classic parkland style with wide fairways lined by mature palms and olives, making it the most accessible of Marrakech's championship tracks for mid-to-high handicappers. Montgomerie's design prioritises playability and pace of play — a round here rarely takes more than 4 hours — while still delivering a satisfying strategic test through clever bunkering and water features on five holes. Green fees run 600-850 MAD for 18 holes, with a genuine twilight rate of 400-500 MAD after 2pm that makes it the best deal for a last-day-of-holiday round before an evening flight. The Golf Academy on-site is one of the busiest in Morocco, with resident PGA professionals offering lessons in Arabic, French, and English. The clubhouse bar has cold Casablanca beer and Atlas Mountain views from the terrace.
